Capt (IN) Ashwin Anupdev |
Captain Ashwin Anupdev was commissioned into Indian Navy on 6th
February 2006. He is an alumnus of the 2nd Naval Orientation Course at
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. He is a postgraduate in Mathematics with
BEd and prior to joining Navy he worked as lecturer at private college. Post
the joining the Navy, the officer was initially posted as instructor at Naval
Institute of Educational and Training Technology, wherein he imparted
instructions on ‘Train the Trainer’ programmes. Subsequently, the officer
underwent Gunnery specialisation course and was posted at Indian Naval
Academy, Ezhimala as Mathematics instructor cum Basics Science faculty
coordinator. Further, being a keen mathematician, the officer was deputed
for Naval Operations Analysis course at Naval Postgraduate School,
Monterey, USA. He is the first among the only three officers to undergo
this course from Navy to date. Post completing the course, the officer
worked as Military OR analyst at Indian Naval Tactical Evaluation Group,
Mumbai for over 10 years. Prior to this appointment, he was heading the
Operations Research and System Analysis Cell of Indian Navy. He is also qualified in Defence
Services Technical Staff Course from MILIT,Pune. He is a keen
educationist, with a passion in teaching and training. He has conducted
Naval OR guest lectures and training capsules for many navy-wide course
and training programmes for past 12 years. The officer took over as the first appointed Principal of
Sainik School, Chandrapur on 18th April 2024.

Lt Col Rubby Dixit |
Lieutenant Colonel Rubby Dixit was commissioned into the Army Education Corps on 22 March 2008 and
has since rendered over 17 years of distinguished service in key instructional and staff
appointments.
She has served as Education Officer in various field formations and as an instructor at premier
training institutions including the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, the AEC Training College &
Centre, Pachmarhi, and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
She later held the appointment of Staff Officer Grade-1 (Education) at HQ 12 RAPID Division,
Jaisalmer.
Lt Col Dixit graduated in Information Technology, holds a Master’s degree in English, and a Bachelor
of Education (B.Ed.). She has also qualified in Sinhala language interpretership.
She assumed charge as Vice Principal, Sainik School Chandrapur on 05 September 2025, bringing with
her vast experience in military pedagogy, leadership development, and educational management to
inspire and guide future leaders.

Lt Cdr Rajath G |
Lt Cdr Rajath G was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 11 July 2016. He completed B.Tech in
Mechanical Engineering from Acharya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. He is an alumnus of the
National Institute of Hydrography, Goa. He has served in various capacities as Gunnery Officer,
Navigating Officer and Assistant Hydrography Surveyor at INS Nirupak & INS Makar. He was involved in
planning, executing, and conducting various hydrographic surveys across India. Additionally, he has
served on board INS Ranveer and INS Deepak of the Indian Navy before assuming duties as
Administrative Officer at Sainik School Chandrapur.
